Seafood Fettuccini Alfredo
The Seafood Alfredo is absolutely amazing. All of the flavors together give your taste buds exactly what they are looking for. It's hard to order anything else after having his meal.
Fresh S.C. Fried Shrimp Basket with Cocktail Sauce
Fantastic fried SC Shrimp and cocktail sauce! The light and crispy batter is perfectly seasoned covering the sweet shrimp! You don't really need the cocktail sauce, but you can tell it's made fresh! And, speaking of made fresh... your blue cheese stuffed olives are to-die-for! We moved from Ohio a few months ago and hadn't found our neighborhood hangout until we came to Gerhard's! Everyone is super friendly and Taylor makes a great martini! Cheers, Jeff & Stacy
Wiener Schnitzel with Fried Potatoes
Our party of four enjoyed the Elk Rouladen, Sea Bass, New York Strip, and Schnitzel. While the elk was a little to the dry side, it was very tender! The sea bass and steak were cooked to perfection. I asked for, and received, a variation on the schnitzel by ordering it Jager style (mushrooms in a brown gravy) and subbed potatoes for spatzle noodles. The kitchen had no problems with the variation. The service was outstanding as always. Four stars!
Traditional Goulash
We had such an amazing dining experience. From the moment we were greeted at the door, to choosing our table and being seated... our evening was perfect. Caroline took care of us and went over and beyond. She decorated our to go box and made the recipients very happy! I've always loved Gerhard's while visiting Spartanburg and will continue to dine under the new ownership. The Goulash is out of this world. 8oz Filet Mignon
My mom and i enjoyed a fabulous meal and terrific service. We shared the coconut shrimp appetizer then enjoyed the filet with peppercirn gravy and roasted potatoes and the Hunter's pork medallion, followed by delicious desserts... triple chocolate cake and the brownie with ice cream. Also cane with house salad and artisan bread with Liptauer cheese. Simply divine! Always a treat to eat at Gerhard's!
Wiener Schnitzel with Fried Potatoes
This was our first time eating at Gerhards and our server suggested the Wiener Schnitzel and it was so good! It was crispy, well seasoned and just all around a wonderful dish!
Wiener Schnitzel with Fried Potatoes
My husband and I are from Brevard, North Carolina and we came down here because we've never been to Spartanburg before and found this place on a whim. We have a German restaurant back home and ours is nothing compared to Gerhard's Cafe. I have never tasted food so fresh and so good. Our waitress, Caroline, was excellent, nice and very attentive. Neither of us ever leaves reviews, but we felt it was necessary and deserved for the restaurant and for Caroline. You better believe we will come back 100 times over. Thank y'all so much!
Fresh S.C. Fried Shrimp Basket with Cocktail Sauce
The basket of fresh SC fried shrimp is amazing. Perfectly cooked with a thin batter and tender sweet shrimp. Going to try the fried oysters again this afternoon. 5:00pm is taking too long to get here today!!! Thank you all for the great food, drinks, and relaxing atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing! I ordered this medium cook. It was perfect!! The taste is impeccable and just melts in your mouth!
Hunter's Medallion
This dish is so good. The gravy that is poured over the pork has the best flavor. The pork is cooked just right and super tender, I would definitely recommend this dish if you're looking for something that's full of flavor.
